Miguel Ochavano Urquia, also known as "Maestro Machinga" is an expert on medicinal plants and trees of the Shipibo tradition. The name "Machinga" comes from a tree in the forest that has the ability to treat the bones, muscles and spine.
He is prominent throughout Pucallpa for his openess to share his knowledge of Ayahuasca and other plants and natural medicines to cure various diseases and ailments.
